Heatmap Analysis/In-Store Analytics reports on enter-to-exit behavior of shoppers within a physical space. This data helps in improving aspects that increase sales rates, understanding the reasons behind performance of successful zones, and applying this knowledge to other zones in order to get the same or higher performance. It analyzes shopper behavior in certain zones within the store and optimizes their path to purchase.
The heatmap device keeps track of shoppers once they enter a physical space, report on which zones they visit and for how long. In other words, heatmap cameras determine hot zones within the store and report on occupancy. This is a great tool to measure success of store design, shelf and window displays, the attraction of a new product launch, new kiosk, and marketing performance in general.
